EAL's AI Position Statement says AI may support assessment decisions provided it is not used in isolation. AI may generate a suggested outcome or grade (for example Pass, Merit or Distinction) for consideration, but the final decision and award must be made by a qualified human assessor who independently reviews the learner evidence.
